Christmas Music

I have spent a lot too much time finding as much ‘alternative’ Christmas music as possible. There are some ace Christmas albums out there, my favourites are Low’s ‘Christmas’, Slow Club’s ‘Christmas Thanks For Nothing’ and Sufjan Stevens’ ‘Songs for Christmas’.

Once December rolls around, I repeatedly remind everyone I can about my Christmas music playlist(s) on Spotify. Unfortunately there are some tracks that are not available that I would like to put on there, but in total there are around 230 tracks on one playlist, and for the last couple of years I have made two separate album length playlists to listen to.

Tyler: My dad never went to college, so it was real important that I go.
Narrator: Sounds familiar.
Tyler: So I graduate, I call him up long distance, I say “Dad, now what?” He says, “Get a job.”
Narrator: Same here.
Tyler: Now I’m 25, make my yearly call again. I say Dad, “Now what?” He says, “I don’t know, get married.”
Narrator: I can’t get married, I’m a 30 year old boy.

Dee: You’ve been really stressed so I thought I’d take you to a spa day. Just the two of us.

Charlie: A what day?

Dee: Spa day.

Charlie: What is this word, spa? I feel like you’re starting to a say a word and you’re not finishing it. Spaghetti? Are you taking me to a spaghetti day?
